Up to 19 reported killed as Israel disrupts Gaza humanitarian effort

Israel must know thy have really screwed up this time if they are down to using the “They deserved it” smear.

The data is as anonymized as possible for confidentiality purposes. BP top kill method fails as cleanup workers are hospitalized from vapors

(NaturalNews) BP officials have announced today that the “top kill” effort to stop the Gulf oil leak has failed. ISRAEL WILL STOP “VIOLENT” AID FLOTILLA

A flotilla of ten ships is bringing 10,000 tons of supplies to the people of Gaza. Scheduled to arrive Sunday, the relief vessels bristle with dozens of parliamentarians and public officials among the 800 passengers from Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Sweden and Ireland. They are determined to break Israel’s oppressive sea embargo and land their supplies at Gaza. Israel has said that if they come to Ashdod (south of Gaza), Israel will distribute the relief in Gaza. But these floating good Samaritans are resolved to end the embargo and help bring freedom the Gazans. Israel says it will use “limited” force to keep them from doing so.

Power and water problems loom for Florida as oil threat lurks off shore

Informed emergency planning sources in Florida have informed WMR that the state faces severe fresh water shortages and power blackouts if the thick crude oil from the Deepwater Horizon disaster clogs sea water intakes at the largest seawater desalinisation plant in the United States — the Tampa Bay Seawater Desalinisation Plant at Apollo Beach in Tampa, Florida. The plant, which uses seawater reverse osmosis to turn seawater into 16 to 19 million gallons of drinking water daily for residents of the Tampa Bay area, faces the threat of filtration membranes becoming clogged if oil from the Gulf of Mexico enters to intake pipes. Such an event would render the plant unable to process seawater, resulting in a major fresh water shortage for the Tampa Bay.

Mental disorders climb in US Army

New figures released by the Pentagon show a significant spike in the number of US soldiers diagnosed with and treated for serious mental disorders.

For the first time, more US soldiers are hospitalized for serious mental disorders from their military service than for injuries and battlefield wounds, according to new medical data released by the Pentagon.

In 2009, there were 17,538 US soldiers put into hospitals for mental health problems compared to 17,354 for battle wounds and injuries sustained during military service.

Census workers can enter your apartment in your absence

Thousands of census workers, including many temporary employees, are fanning out across America to gather information on the citizenry. This is a process that takes place not only every decade in order to complete the constitutionally-mandated census; but also as part of the continuing “American Community Survey” conducted by the Census Bureau on a regular basis year in and year out.

What many Americans don’t realize, is that census workers — from the head of the Bureau and the Secretary of Commerce (its parent agency) down to the lowliest and newest Census employee — are empowered under federal law to actually demand access to any apartment or any other type of home or room that is rented out, in order to count persons in the abode and for “the collection of statistics.” If the landlord of such apartment or other leased premises refuses to grant the government worker access to your living quarters, whether you are present or not, the landlord can be fined $500.00.

That’s right — not only can citizens be fined if they fail to answer the increasingly intrusive questions asked of them by the federal government under the guise of simply counting the number of people in the country; but a landlord must give them access to your apartment whether you’re there or not, in order to gather whatever “statistics” the law permits.

In fact, some census workers apparently are going even further and demanding — and receiving — private cell phone numbers from landlords in order to call tenants and obtain information from them. Isn’t it great to live in a “free” country?   Source

Two former CIA officials have admitted to creating a fake video in which intelligence officers dressed up as Osama Bin Laden and his cronies in an effort to defame the terrorist leader throughout the middle east.

The details are outlined in a Washington Post article by investigative reporter and former Army Intelligence case officer Jeff Stein.

Stein’s sources told him that during planning for the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the CIA’s Iraq Operations Group considered creating a fake video of Saddam Hussein engaged in sexual acts with a teenage boy, then flooding Iraq with copies of the tape.   Continue

First Patriot Missiles Already in Poland

The US Patriot air defence batteries and around 100 American troops have arrived in the town of Morag, northern Poland, 60 kilometers from the Russian Kaliningrad border.

Since early morning soldiers of the US 5th Battalion and 7th Air Defence Artillery have been unloading the missiles from 37 train carriages.

“It’s an important day for Poland and the United States, for our common goals and interests,” said U.S. ambassador to Poland Lee Feinstein.

The first Patriots arrived in Poland after the SOFA agreement (Supplemental Status of Forces Agreement) at the beginning of this year.

The US soldiers will train Polish troops on how to use the Patriot defence system. The American soldiers accompanied the the battery from Kaiserslautern in Germany last night.

On Wednesday, May 26, Ambassador Feinstein and Brigadier General Mark Bellini, Operations Sustainment Director, U.S. Army Europe, will join Polish officials in Morąg to greet U.S. and Polish soldiers and to inspect the Patriot battery.

Hosting Patriots in Poland was part of Warsaw’s condition for the stationing of the now abandoned Central European missile system, agreed with the previous Bush administration in 2008.

Obama to snatch up to 75% of your income

If President Obama repeals the Bush tax cuts and imposes a 20 percent value added tax, or VAT, on the U.S., Americans may be facing tax rates where more than half of everything earned is confiscated by the federal government in the form of income taxes, Jerome Corsi’s Red Alert reports.

Add Social Security taxes and the tax burden quickly advances to more than 60 percent.

“Adding state property and income taxes to the burden, the amount government confiscates could be in the 75 percent range before Americans have a chance to vote Obama out of office in 2012,” Corsi wrote. “Are Americans willing to be taxed 75 percent of every dollar earned?”   Continue

GULF OIL SPILL COULD HAVE BEEN SEALED IN 8 HOURS ANYTIME

The DEEPWATER HORIZON sinking caused twisted 21 inch riser piping to start leaking in three places at 5,000 feet in the Gulf Seabed. Sadly the proven methods to STOP THE LEAK still have not been used since 042010 until today at 052010 for reasons unknown. BP, Governor of Florida and Governor of LA were all given, along with the President, the Counter Pressure Plug information from a UK inventor Branko R. Babic as he invented same in 1991 for Kuwait Oil Fires above the ground and they will work underwater with ROV welding special thick steel tubes with washers to be welded to the interior while the tubes allow full flow of gas, oil, water through tubes into the gulf.

ROV’s can be used to WELD UNDERWATER the 5 inch thick washers compressed with thick rubber washers against the inside pipe sealing off all leaking oil, gas and water while the straight through pipe could take the contents flowing through to the TOP of the sea into barges. Keep in mind the CPP with flow pipe has a BALL VALVE wheel operated to shut down the flow and BP could then try to seal the BOP stopping the leak entirely.   Continue

A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Moon.

Consider just a few of the facts:

Three astronauts were murdered in January of 1967, all of whom would have most likely “walked on the moon”, one of whom was very vocal about the unreliability of the Apollo Command Service Module. [1]

A few months later, an Apollo safety inspector was killed “by a train” less than a mile from his home, one week after testifiying before a Congressional commitee that the death of these three astronauts was a deliberate murder, and that the Apollo program was in shambles. His 500 page, detailed report on the shortcomings of Apollo would never be found. [2]

Obama doesn’t want to “own” oil disaster

WMR has learned from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) sources that President Obama has avoided taking responsibility for the oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico because he would rather have BP “own” the disaster than his administration.

Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Thad Allen is to retire at the end of this month. He was named as national incident commander for the oil spill and President Obama has stated that Allen will continue in his position after he retires. However, WMR’s sources in FEMA report that Allen has been in post-retirement employment discussions with BP. Under his watch, the Coast Guard has been accused of shilling for BP’s public relations efforts, including having armed Coast Guard personnel chase away a CBS camera crew from filming the oil spill’s effects in Louisiana and claiming that tests of oil tar balls in Florida have not come from the Deepwater Horizon disaster.

The oil spewing from the Mocondo Prospect in the Mississippi Canyon Block is estimated to contain about 3 billion barrels of oil but there are some indications that it may contain as much as 10 billion barrels.   By Wayne Madsen
